For Battle Creek Church, restoration took the form of architectural renewal—reviving a sanctuary wall that had long lacked color, meaning, and light. Because a traditional window could not be added to the 100-year-old brick structure, we engineered a 30-foot LED-backlit stained glass installation that restored the spiritual focal point the church had been missing. The artwork itself was a restoration of sacred imagery, based on a beloved oil painting that we translated into stained glass using traditional lead lines, layered kiln-fired paint, and textured glass reminiscent of historic cathedral windows. This innovative blend of old-world craftsmanship and modern technology restored not only beauty to the sanctuary but the sense of presence and reverence that stained glass brings to worship spaces.
