Church Stained Glass Restoration in Alaska
While Alaska may not be the most populous state, it is nevertheless home to a diverse and devoted religious community. In 1795, the First Russian Orthodox Church was established in Kodiak. Then, later the Church of the Holy Ascension was built in Unalaska in 1826. Since then, many religious groups have come to call Alaska home and today beautiful churches, chapels, and cathedrals can be found throughout the state.
Stained glass windows are a hallmark characteristic of churches in Alaska and around the world. When properly cared for, stained glass can last for hundreds of years. However, at some point, it will require restoration. Through restoration, stained glass is strengthened and build-up that has occurred over time is removed, restoring the windows to their original shine and beauty so that they can be enjoyed by future generations. At Church Stained Glass Restoration, this is a service that we are honored to provide.
Our stained glass repair and restoration services are available to Alaska churches of all types. We work in houses of worship located all throughout the state of Alaska, including the cities of Anchorage, Juneau, Fairbanks, Knick-Fairview, Badger, College, and beyond.
