Church Stained Glass Restoration for North Carolina
In the mid 1600’s, European settlers from Virginia began to migrate to present-day North Carolina, the majority of which belonged to the Protestant Church. Not long after, Quakers, Lutherans, and Presbyterians also came to the area, sparking the development of numerous churches. North Carolina has long has a history of being widely accepting of all religions, even in its earliest today. Today, it is home to churches of many different religions and denominations including Southern Baptists, United Methodists, Roman Catholics, Mormon, Pentecostal members, and those of Jewish and other faiths.
Some of North Carolina’s oldest churches, such as the St. Thomas Episcopal Church and First Baptist Church of Raleigh, are over 200 years old. Inside these historic holy houses can be found some of the most beautiful stained glass windows in the country. Unfortunately, many of these rare and extraordinary gems are at risk of being lost forever due to old age and deterioration. Restoration provides a viable means of preserving North Carolina’s wondrous church stained glass and keeping alive the state’s unique culture, identity, and history.
At Church Stained Glass Restoration, we have been performing this type of work for over 25 years. Our artisans, painters, and engineers are well-versed in a variety of stained glass styles throughout all different eras. We have successfully brought back to life thousands of church stained glass windows and saved them from extinction. Our church stained glass restoration services are available to all of North Carolina, including the cities of Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Winston-Salem, Fayetteville, and beyond.
