Church Stained Glass in Louisville and Jefferson County
Whether you live in or in the Taylor Berry neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, or out in Asheville in Jefferson County, the community you live in here in Central Kentucky is likely peppered with churches of every denomination. From towering Mormon tabernacles to Catholic cathedrals, lovely religious structures are common to the Derby City area. A ubiquitous feature on many of these church structures is stained glass windows. They are not only pieces of spiritual iconography but keepers of time and tradition. Sadly, these lovely church stained glass works only last about 80 years before needing restoration. Many of the stained glass church windows in the Louisville and Jefferson County areas were built at the end of the last century. This means if they are not restored soon, they could be lost to disrepair.
